Rodriguez did it like that on purpose I think. Off course it isn’t played on the same ‘note’, but it is still meant to be part of that Twisted Nerve tune. It isn’t really a whistle, but is the same sound of that music that accompanies it. I thought it was quite obvious. Either, it is meant to be part of Twisted Nerve, or it is one [size=200]BIG[/size] coincidence that it plays only once in the film and at a time when Elle Driver is in the scene.
