Volume 1 - The ENDING (Storyboards!)

Seems like Vol.1 will end with the Bride in the grave.

Check out the storyboard I posted today on the website.

I think that ending is perfect.

I had been wondering if QT was using storyboards on the film. My question is answered. I love looking at storyboards.

I cant wait to see how it looks on film.

What a lame way to finish a half of a movie! (my opinion)

You dont think your actually gonna get away with that do you?

Its a lame way to end the first part of the film? How the hell do you figure that?

At least give a reason why you think that.

You don’t need writing talent to end an ‘‘episode’’ with the hero hanging from a cliff! Thats the ending way that you’ll get if you ask anybody (from your grandmother to your friend from school who’s favorite movie is Pearl Harbor) It’s like seeing a TV episode ‘’…to be continued…’'

Anyway maybe I’m saying all that stuff cos I’m BIG TIME pissed off with that two parts fucking thing( especially the 94 min run time each one) I have already lost respect for Quentin, and I’m not that crazy anymore to see the movie(s)(OK I"m still gonna see them 2-3 times each!)

Dude, the film hasn’t even been released yet. How can you think it would be lame? I think it’s a great way to end volume 1. The Bride is the heroine and you know she isn’t going to die, you only want to know HOW she gets out of that coffin. When I was reading the script, I really wanted to read on when I read that she was buried alive.

thats cool soo?? if the end of kill bill 1 ends where the bride gets buried… I assume in kill bill 2 it begins where the Pei mei mentors her in kung fu?? maybe I cant wait!!!

There should be a countdown on this forum when Kill Bill releases

in October 10

i know im going to get my head bitten off, but i agree that this is a shitty way to end the first part of this movie. well actually i think its a cool ending, but for the masses, who havent been long awaiting the return of QT, i think they will be turned off by this “cliffhanger”. look at what matrix:reloaded did when it ended with a sort of cliffhanger, it made a lot of people i know not want to go see the 3rd part when it comes out. i just think that the second part of kill bill will take a major hit after the general public (idiots) realize that they just got suckered into having to pay twice to see one movie. i think everyone will see part one, and only real QT fans will see part 2

Its a REAL cliffhanger ending. Like in the old days of movie serials. The Bride is stuck in the grave and noone knows what comes next. I think its great. How the fuck else do you want him to end the films first half?

Theres a difference between Matrix and Kill Bill. Kill Bill is going to be a film people are going to want to go back to see the rest of. I read the script, its way better than The Matrix, you should know that.

it’s a good cliffhanger to me just like WHO SHOT JR?
How the fuck else do you want him to end the films first half?
I don’t!

Now that there are going to be two movies he might as well make the ending of the first half interesting. I cant see how that is a bad thing really.

And how about NOT whining like little girlies about the movie being split in half until we have seen the result, eh?

Right On Ramona!

Also, people in here have a HUGE lack of faith in the Q Man. Like hes ever dissapointed us before. He split up the movies for good reason: so the fans could see a complete film.

If your too cheap to see both films, wait till the DVD comes out. :stuck_out_tongue:
the masses, who havent been long awaiting the return of QT
I wonder if they remember him. In one hand it’s been 6 years and the average movie goer’s an idiot

and in the other hand he was huge in the 90’s.

thats a good point, i have no idea if the average movie goer remembers him. you have to figure that an 18 year old today was only 12 when jackie brown came out, i bet theres a large chunk of teenagers that havent even seen a QT movie. maybe theyll see kill bill and become new fans though.

Guys its been 6 years not frickin 20. Quentin Tarantino is as well known as Steven Spielberg. He’s a legend. Where do you come up with these dumb ideas?
He’s a legend
He’s not a legend (yet) but he has a cult status!

BULLSHIT!!! Quentin Tarantino is a well known celebrity all over the world. Hes almost a household name in the United States. EVERY film school student knows who he is, EVERY actor/stuidio person knows who he is. Hes a legend in the world of film RIGHT NOW! Coming from NO film school background, making his movies just out of his pure cinematic knowledge of the artform. Hes a legend mostly because of Two words: PULP FICTION.
