Paycheck was good, but to be honest I didn’t like Uma’s performance. It was too…whats the word…fake? I dont know I think her acting sucked ass in this movie, especially the first half of the movie. Her acting isn’t as cheezy in the second half, but still.
and Ben Affleck did a good job of acting, I don’t see why everyone hates him. It’s not his fault he’s in such shittyass ghetto fuckin piece of shit movies.

I don’t think you really can go extremely wrong with a Phillip K. Dick story. But somehow or other, Paycheck didn’t feel like a PKD story.

Hmmm, I think Paycheck will get a str8 for rent release over here in the Netherlands. But last Saturday was sort of a Uma Thurman night, they showed 2 of her movies at once, both starting at approximately the same time, being 0:30 at night.
Now I had to walk like 6 kilometres home. So I left my friends home at 23:00 and arrived at 0:10, just in time to pull out some vhs and record, Gattaca, I read that this had to be a very good movie, at least the TV guide said so. The other movie was Les Miserables, but i guessed I could rent that one and just watch The faculty which was also playing at that time, and had homemade Famke Janssen in it and I was really in the mindstate of watching a serious movie.
But now I have Gattaca laying around on good ol vhs wich i will surely watch before friday.

I liked Paycheck. Not a spectacular movie but not a terrible one either. I think Uma did a fine job in her role as a bio-chemist for some top secret project.

I totally agree with you about the whole older she gets the more beautiful - see I used to be obsessed with Sigourney Weaver (aliens did me in) and as she aged, she looked even better, But then by ‘Heartbreakers’ she started to loose it. She now (in my opinion) needs braces or something…she has gangly teeth now which piss me off! NO OFFENCE SIGOURNEY!
But anyway, my point is, Uma is one of these age-beautifully…and lets pray she doesn’t get gangly teeth!
