I’d say thats because we’re in Germany, we have to wait longer for an American release to come over here.

Hehe. Well, I am watching some cool exploitation films these days to make myself clear for the THRILLER experience. Today I’ve seen HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES, awesome horror flick, great 70s terror homage, but has nothing to do with THRILLER so back to topic

It seems as if those who ordered their copies from Xploited.com had gotten them earlier or right on time. I tried pre-ordering from there last month, but they were already sold out of the first batch. So I decided to place mine on DeepDiscountDVD. 6 Days and waiting. If it doesn’t arrive tomorrow, IMMA BE PISSED!

Still hasn’t arrived yet. Cant tell you how pissed I am. Sorry, but I just have ZERO patience whenever an order doesn’t arrive on schedule.
It’s a damn good thing that the movie I’m expecting to arrive has some rough sex & violence in it 'cause that’s what I need to see to blow off this steam.

I have already got my DVD and enjoyed the film. Awesome Swedish rape & revenge bliss, my review will follow at the Grindhouse next Friday, the 15th.

Yeah it was cool to get an official mention in the release for the DVD. I wasn’t too sure if they’d put my name only. I got an e-mail from Don May, Jr. of Synapse earlier this year and offered to help him out however he needed it… and just luckily I had some lobbycards/images he couldn’t track down anywhere else.
Synapse is one kick ass DVD company though, they really are hands on w/ fans and open to input, etc.,… to many DVD companies could care less what consumers think… its nice to see one that puts out the releases they do and is so involved w/ fans of the movies.
I’m just like thinking its cool as hell to know so many of my favorite directors or people in movies who no doubt will own this DVD could come across my site. Though the only thing that sucks is I didn’t get my new site relaunched in time for the DVD release. I’ll try and visit the boards here more often… the new version of my site is the most ambitious project I’ve ever attempted, sucked all my life outside of work trying to finish.

Like lots of low budget movies, this movie would suck if it didnt shine in ultimate coolness in some parts…
and for those parts its worth to own imo
I was so excited to get this DVD the week it was released, then I watched it. I was all pumped up anticipating one of the most kickass Revenge films ever. Well, thats not the case. It was a big dud and by the middle I was waiting for it to be over (BORING) If you want a kickass well paced, tautly directed female revenge film, watch Coffy or I Spit On Your Grave, theyre both much better than Thriller. Yes, her outfits were cool, shes a hot chick, but, other than that: blah. QT really overexaggerated the coolness this film.
All that aside, the DVD presentation was excellent, Don May and Co. did a wonderful job on the restoration etc. If only the film was as awesome as the DVD was!
I always thought QT said it was the “roughest” revenge movie ever made…Not the coolest. 8)
i dont remember QT making any remarks about the film at all, other than it being an influence on kill bill
on the backside of my dvd it says something like this is the movie that influenced the movie kill bill by director Quentin Tarantino
Then there a quote of him saying ‘’ Thriller: en grym film is the rougest revenge movie ever’’
