There Will Be Blood - end theme

cool. You own them all?

Yes. There’s still a shit load more to see, her filmography is so fucking huge, and her movies are really great. You look to other actors and they don’t come close to the quality Bette has produced over the years. She’s the First Lady of film.

Are some on vhs that you own?

just 2. Cabin In The Cotton - which is 30 bucks used. And Dangerous was like 12 bucks - used.

I think her rarest DVD is the movie with Gary Merryl - her last husband. It’s called “A Man’s Poison” or something like that. The rest I own are DVDs.

Since I knew you talked about Judy Garland as well on here, have you ever seen “A Child Is Waiting” with her and directed by John Cassavetes? I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it was good or not.

I’ve never even heard of it, truth be told. I’ve seen like 6 Garland movies. I’ve seen: Oz, The Clock, Star Is Born, Meet Me In St. Louis, Star Is Born, Me & My Gal, Harvey Girls, Trial at Nuremberg.

Yeah I just heard of it last week. You would of been the first to ask about Garland. Though people on here like Cassavetes, so I should prob ask them too.

Who the hell is John Cassavetes?

Never heard of him. Post a picture, maybe I’ve seen him.

Stanley Kramer took everything Cassavetes wanted out of it and made it studio bullshit. However, there are some flashes of greatness in it.
