The Zombie Genre

Words cant describe how much I dislike the resident evil movies they have almost no redeeming features whatsoever to call it horror would be an insult to even call it a zombie move hurts because theres more screen time on the lead women flying kicking things and shooting two guns… and the way that the movies abuse the source ( the first few games were actually quite good ) its criminal

To me the movies aren’t at all what they should have been ( frightening ) because they fuck up the atmosphere in every way possible and also manage to fuck almost everything else up to …these are just my feelings because im not so arrogant as some people, I don’t feel im currently in a position where I can say “this films sucks becauseâ€?, im just saying as much as I like some things resident evil I don’t like the films…

if George Andrew Romero would of directed it… rather then Paul William Scott Anderson ( ill save you all from having to read my thoughts concerning him ) then things may have been very very different

Zombie movies suck.
They’re not that bad, I’ve seen worse. Example: Those zombie Italian movies, Zombie 4 and 5. Now those movies are just unbearable to watch. At least in the

Resident Evil movies you get to see a really hot chick kicking ass.

Yeah i guess your right i was just expecting the films to be something there not… yeah i cant really say i hate the films ( i always said dislike )

Zombie movies suck.

That sir is a gross generality…

As much as I dispise the Resident Evil movies, NOTHING is worse than House of the Dead.
Well if you hate it so much, why post it in a topic called “the zombie genre”?!

Paul W.S. Anderson has been named poet lauret of successful videogame conversions by GDC. <LINK_TEXT text=“http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/paul-ws-an … 170903.php”>Kotaku | Gaming Reviews, News, Tips and More.</LINK_TEXT>

The Dawn remake and 28 Days Later are great movies. The rest I agree with.

The countdown begins for next year’s big budget zombie film. . .RESIDENT EVIL:EXTINCTION. Umbrella’s dark conspiracy will soon be unveiled.

Resident Evil 1 was bearable at least it was fairly true to the game series but come on it isn’t a great series. 28 Days later is a very clever Zombie movie, i even liked Land of the Dead the latest George A. Romero one the idea of “smart zombies” was good. Other than that im not huge on the new zombie movies, they’re not as good as the old chool ones.

I’d like to the Walking Dead made into a movie. It is written by Robert Kirkman, published by Image. It’s pretty damn good 8)

Trailer:

Coming Soon! A Sarah Connors rip off! But still, very sexy!

I hope this is better than the second one.

Don’t count on it.

I wouldn’t mind the superhero aspect if the editing on these films weren’t shit. What the hell happened to action movies. Look at Die Hard or True Lies, they don’t have 50 cuts per minute. These are zombie movies, where is the fucking blood! It’s like the whole Matrix thing for the thousandth time. It’s great when Neo is just begining to learn what he can do, but once he’s got his godlike power, the movie ignores real people making them shallow meatbags.
