Theres a point where I just cant stand anymore bitching and whining. I had my qualms with Eli Roth, but Ive realized that QT isnt going to throw away a role like that just to cast his pal. Roth MUST deliver or else QT wouldnt have it. Im just excited about this whole thing. Right now, I dont care who he casts really, most of them besides Brad, Myers and Eli, Ive never even see act before, so why would I put these people down? Theyve got one of the best directors to help them do a great job. Thats enough for me. This is the Basterds Family, and thats how it is.

I was picturing someone older too. I was picturing Uma, actually, but I didn’t have my heart set on her, it was just what came to my mind.
I hope we get some more confirmed news very soon. I’m starting to go stir-crazy.
Does anyone know if QT was going to go straight back to Germany after the DNC, or handle business in Hollywood until it’s time to shoot?

Just like Uma, Kruger’s a blonde ex-model turned actress. But from what I’ve seen she doesn’t play in the same acting league. Of course she fits physically TOTALLY for the role. But if I count ER it’s two acting direction miracles QT is gonna have to do. Anyway, I forgive more the Kruger choice than the ER choice because… the movie needed his Blonde rate.
By the way, I sincerely wish a HUGE “Bonne chance!” to the French casting director because I know casting the right one for the Shosanna part is a very hard mission.

i don’t know but i would assume. but it could be that he’s heading to LA first since he’s only a short flight away from there, and then head back to Deutschland
