Let me sat, i won a copy of both reservoir dogs and city on fire. While it’s true Tarantino did get the basic plot idea from this, the plots almost sub plot to the characters. Were intrested in who the undercover cop is… but to me whats more intresting is each characters reaction to the curcumstances.
Tarantino maybe based Blonde’s character on the guy with the massive collar, but he’s no way like as ‘trigger-happy’ as blonde. The witty dialouge we love is 100% tarantino. The dialouge made this a great film. So no, it’s not remake…
