The Music / Soundtrack

Well atleast its mega rare, I can’t find Green Leaves of Summer by him anywhere, except on amazon, on the IB soundtrack. (Amazon finally got the fucking tracklist correct).

Pre-ordered and waiting! 200th post yay lol

At least, you can preview the song titles on Amazon.com now.

Thanks!

A question I had earlier has been answered:

[quote=“Laydback”]
Slaughter-I can’t get any of those Deezer tracks to play, but does this version open with an organ or a guitar? The album track that I’ve got opens with the organ, but in the movie, it starts with a heavy, monotone guitar lick. I hope this is the version that appears on both the soundtrack and on the movie.

Judging by that audio clip, YES! It’s the version that I wanted!

Other reactions from the audio clips:

Never knew that “Verdict” and “Surrender” were seperate musical pieces. These tracks are from the spag-Western, Big Gundown and they’re played together in the movie. I always thought that was supposed to be just one track.

First time hearing the “Dark/Sun” track. Kinda funky!

I thought “Un Amico” would’ve been the french-vocal version, but the instrumental is great enough.

Sounds like another pure gold soundtrack cooked up by QT.

I have Verdict from the original OST of Big Gundown, but I listened to Verdict on IB OST and it sound very different, did Quent edit this? Because I like the sound of it

u never know which versions they took, might also be crackling etc

will do

Gotta say I’m disappointed in the soundtrack. By far the weakest one yet from Tarantino. Only a few stand outs and the fact that there is no dialogue snippets is a BIG let down. I wish we knew why he chose to do that.

I’m sure they’ll fit great in the film, especially the German oldies, though.

I just listened to the entire soundtrack on the Guardian’s site earlier today. Apart from Putting Out Fire [which is rockin’] my favourite track is the last one, which I think is played over the end credits in the movie though.

Well, just wait to hear the music with the movie. I’m sure it’ll make you change your mind.

This is how I feel. Even though QT topped himself again with another awesome selection of music, He has broken a simularity to all his soundtracks, NO DIALOGUE! some people may not think this is a big deal, but it shows that QT may had been told not to do this, and so he didn’t… he shoulda told them to fuck them self. Plus I love dialogue in soundtracks; I have soundtracks that never came with dialogue from the movie (like most soundtracks) but I would find and download soundclips anyway. And I’ll do the same to Inglourious Basterds If I have to, just because the soundtrack didn’t come with dialogue, doesnt mean I can’t find it some where else.

I never heard White Lightning Main Titles before. It rocked!!

I think the main reason is becouse Tarantino never realised the better part of the best dialog. Since 70% of the movie is in german and french the english dialog is to good to be realised on the cd without spoiling the experiance.

Soundtrack is avalible at itunes store. Right now.

Thanks. If anybodies bought it, how’s the video of QT on the soundtrack?

I hope my delivery comes in time shortly after I’ve seen the movie. I also wonder if QT added that Hannah Montana song Eli Roth said was on his mix tape whilst prepping for the Nazi-beatdown scene hahaha.

I have, its worth downloading it on iTunes so you get this interview. Its awesome to hear Quentin to talk about music. And you’ll find out that Charles Bernstein and QT are friends, and CB gave QT the complete score to “White Lightning”.
