I’m still kind of surprised at how these posters are pretty much sealing the deal that I’m going to be pretty happy to hear the dialogue and see these characters in motion (minus the trailers).
I wouldn’t necessarily hang these on the wall like the others I got (bat, knife, gun) but I’m definitely getting excited.

I don’t think the rest are that significant. Some are just fillers, Paul Rust, Michael Bacall etc.

Not screaming but something more than just look at the camera with no expression at all. Pitt’s got that Aldo Raine look with the grimace, Roth has the psychotic smile, Kruger has the subtle teasing smile and Laurent is complete profile so it’s different. Schweiger’s is my favorite from the men too but I’m still disappointed with the blank-slate-expression. In my avatar for example, he’s perfect and just as I’ve imagined Hugo Stiglitz.
Anyways, it’s very minor, he still looks fucking cool and will prove that silence is more powerful than words when he’s on screen.
Its gotta be that way for a reason. His expression is so plain and doesnt show any aggression at all (esp for a psychotic loon). I think its because he is going to be a sympathetic character in the story. The “abused, crazy but loyal dog” type. Like a Cool Hand Luke-esque character.

It is a scary thought. That’s not Brad Pitt firing the machine gun, it’s Eli Roth. And yes, that’s Omar Doom with him but I don’t think he has taken over both roles. I hope BJ Novak still has his part in it.

It’s funny you mention that. I remember when it was announced he was in it, people who knew him had said that he only has two looks - the serious one, like that poster and a comedic one. But if that’s what he’s meant to be, then he’s perfect for it.
