The greatest director of all time?

I don’t know who the greatest filmmaker of all time is, I only know who’s my favourite: QT. If you ask “who’s the best” you have to take all kinds of things into consideration, like the filmhistorical relevance the movies had, how much impact they made in the world of film, of their approach is original…

But I do know who I think is the coolest filmmaker living: Uwe Boll. Seriously this guy is great. I have only seen Alone in the Dark (awful x3) and Postal (nice B-Movie), but as a person, he is the coolest. I met him today (1,5 hours ago) during a Pre-release Screening of Postal in Vienna and talked to him a bit. He does NOT mince words and is not affraid to kick everybody in the balls with his opinions. I agree with him on his views of world politics and the current state of Blockbuster-driven Hollywood. Uwe Boll is my new hero.

Watch Postal. And buy the DVD.
