I haven’t seen much by Bergman but I analysed extracts from Persona in my cinema class (which is more precisely about modernity in cinema). This was so weird. Check out the introduction scene and the dialogue scene between the two women when the nurse understands the secret of the amnesiac woman. Oh and there’s other sequence with the celluloid burning. Really interesting but I haven’t seen the whole movie.
