Why don’t you ever sing me songs?
Because you’re not on Xbox Live
Fine

Whilst we’re on the delightful subject of sucking ass, I hope you liked the song I sung you!

Here’s to us gamers! Though I think Halo 3 kinda sucks.

I finished it on normal difficulty, I just can’t get into it. Now F3, Gears 2, and Left 4 Dead - those are games!

Yo, fuck the campaign, I don’t buy into that whole business. The MULTIPLAYER is where it’s at! Haven’t played anything like it, miles above anything else in terms of gameplay. COD 4 is second.
I’ve bought so many games the past couple of months and haven’t played them much at all. Haven’t even been online as much due to work and a loss of passion for it. Soul Calibur 4, Fable 2, Fifa 09, Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3, when am I gonna get the chance to play you all
Who won in Halo 3 ? You, Ify, or you, Bio ?
The times we played, I whooped Bio’s arse so bad, he forgot who Milla Jovovich was.
Ahaha. Then you now have to defy him at another game to really know who’s the best !

It’s true. I suck at Halo 3.
So…The Gran Torino…crazy title, crazy car.
Possible minor spoilers.
Me and a buddy downloaded this yesterday and I’m still not really sure how I feel about it. Eastwood was awesome and everything but I really wasn’t expecting his character to be a racist, let alone a very devout stubborn almost evil racist. The pacing of the story was also kinda weird. It felt like the story just totally shifted gears into a different kind of movie every half an hour or so.
The part that pissed me off the most is they spend the first half hour letting us know that Eastwood’s playing the most outwardly racist old man you’ve ever met, but all it takes to turn him around is some beer and some “gook food” as he calls it.
In the end Eastwood was awesome but the story itself could have used a bit more work and could have been a lot more focused. I like the idea of setting up a character as a very unlikable biggot but his redemption just seemed sort of half assed.
I liked Eastwood in it… that’s kind of it. The rest of the cast was terrible… laughably terrible. His direction was so laid back that it seemed like a nobody director had done it… which I suppose helped to tell THIS story.
I think part of the problem was that none of the Hmong actors in the film were acting for the first time. But yeah, the brother and sister next door made me chuckle for all the wrong reasons quite a few times.
*** Spoilers obviously ***

What is that supposed to mean?
Anyway, I loved the movie, my review here.
A few points:

However, he later gives in and decides he does want to join them only to fail at the task. Why do you think he changed his mind? Did it have more to do with fitting in with the "typical male" of his time/neighbourhood? Or do you think he valued family wishes?

I meant the film lacked the kind of style his other films tend to have, but as I said it benefited him in telling this particular story letting his performance take center stage, which is the fims only redeemable feature IMO.
