Wow, the cast actually look great. This is shaping up to be something pretty special.
I have to say it’s a fucking great cast. Having read the thing, I can see it totally work out.
Nice move with Schweiger as Stiglitz by the way, there is one amazing scene with him where Tarantino described him as “fucking weird”, this part is hilarious. With Donowitz, they are two psycho, each in their own way. So I think they suit their role very well.
My only complaint could be Diane Kruger, the part requires a strong personality, but I guess I have to trust the guy on this one, he knows what he’s doing.
The only one I am freaking out over is Hans Lander. I’ve never heard of him, never seen him in anything but looking at him, I have a really good feeling about him.
The Mike Myers/Eli Roth casting still makes me think Quentin was under the influence when he chose them.
Yeah the cast is shaping up to be something wonderful but the only chink in the chain for me is still Eli Roth. He looks the part 100% but I’m really concerned about his acting chops here. I will be on the fence about until I actually see the film but I have this nervous feeling that his scenes will not be as great as they can just because of his line delivery. I hope he’s been practising because this is the role of a lifetime and he will either be hailed as the factor that brought IG down from greatness or he will start getting calls non-stop and scripts for him to act in.
We’ll just have to wait and see…everyone else is amazing.
And Pinkman, the scene you mention is the reason for my username
