The Best Overall Tarantino song

#101

George Baker - Little Green Bag

Jackie Brown had a lot of good music too. I was watching an old Burt Reynolds movie the other night, White Lighting, and it had some of the music from Kill Bill vol1. It had the music where Bea is in the House of Blue Leaves being circled by the remaining Crazy 88 before the dance music (Song:Nobody) breaks out again. I was like WOW! Cool. Turned out to be a pretty good movie too.

Death Rides a Horse is the greatest.

Lets Stay Together works great in the bar scene, I don’t know how I didn’t notice it earlier.

#108

misirlou kicks my ass so hard every single time I watch PF…

stuck from ResDogs is cool too

#109

Im sure Quentin diddn’t pick out the soundtracks in NBK, but there are some great songs on that. My fave Quentin tracks are Little green bag! Goodnight moon, and Jeepster!

None. A friend of mine once told me that his brothers friends sister talked to someone who once saw Quentin do the "Dueling Banjos" song from Deliverance where he burped the Banjo part and farted the guitar piece. They said it would be posted up on youtube soon so keep an eye out!

I have a favorite from every movie:

From pulp fiction:

misirlou

From Reservoir Dogs:

Stuck in the Middle with you

From Jackie Brown:

Monte Carlo Nights

From Kill Bill:

Battle without honor or humanity

From Death Proof:

Chick Habit (though down in mexico is a close second)

#116

Right now it’s a tie between: (Based on the use in the movie not overall greatness, Except Lonesome Town :stuck_out_tongue:)

Death Proof: Baby, It’s You/Hold Tigh

Kill Bill: Goodnight Moon/Navajo Joe

Jackie Brown: Long Time Woman/Across 110th Street

Pulp Fiction: Misirlou/(Lonesome Town)/Girl, You’ll be a Woman Soon

Reservoir Dogs: Stuck in the Middle/Little Green Bag

#117

Tony_Rockyhorror, I agree!!

Son of a Preacher Man-Dusty

All time fav though is

Bang Bang-Nancy Sinatra from Kill Bill

#118

Down in Mexico, Misirlou and Hold Tight

#119

hard to choose just one but I guess the one that’s probably the most powerful for me is “Battle without Honour or Humanity” in Kill Bill Vol. 1, even though it’s way overplayed

other than that, the ones that stick out are:

“Stuck in the Middle With You” in Reservoir Dogs

"Misirlou" in Pulp Fiction

"Natural High", “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind” and “Tennessee Stud” in Jackie Brown

"I’m Blue" in Kill Bill Vol 1

"About Her", “Goodnight Moon”, “Malaguean Salerosa” and “The Chase” in Kill Bill Vol 2

"Hold Tight" and “The Last Race” in Death Proof

Stuck in the middle with you is by far the best 8)

The theme tune for True romance is amazing though. ^-^
