I would have to go with Jackie Brown. It was a film that showed QT’s brightest promise. Very intrigueing characters, crisp dialogue, and no showy distractions. Throw in brilliant performances by Pam Grier and Robert Forster. QT’s most adult and intelligent film to date, one that I feel will have a great resurgence toward the end of his career.
