Jackie Brown is in Elmore’sm universe. And Kill Bill is not in the real universe.
Ads from Real World Universe can show up in the Movie Movie Universe too (EX: Red Apple). Thats one detail QT didnt point out in his original QT Universes interview.
And sorry I meant the Wolf when I was talking about the dinner party, I was watching SCTV while I typed that so I fucked up.
Quentin lives in his own universe-where movies mean everything and where everything is possible 8) 8) 8)
That’s why we like him
mm that links don’t work anymore with me ???

This is the best one: “Blood doesn’t really spray like that…” :o
Yes, theres 3 Universes QT has worked in: The Realer Than Real World Universe (Dogs, Pulp, True Romance, Inglorious Bastards) 2. The Movie Movie Universe (FDTD, NBK, Kill Bill, Grindhouse) 3. Elmore Leonards Universe (Jackie Brown).
The Wolf is the only character that can go into both the Movie Movie Universe AND Real World Universes. QT stated hes a Movie Movie character.
Characters from other non QT movies can show up in
the Movie Movie Universe (ex: Pai Mei and Hattori Hanzo in Kill Bill)
Characters in Elmore Leonards Universe can go into other Non QT films: Ex: Ray Nicolette (Michael Keaton) is in Jackie Brown AND Out Of Sight
I gotta say, I thought I would only like the The Realer Than Real World Universe, as I’m not much of a fan of Kill Bill (Vol 1 was watchable, liked the anime, but not highly original, and Vol 2 was even worse IMO), but I love FDTD. Gotta be PF, then RD, then FDTD, then Jackie Brown, followed by NBK, and lastly Kill Bill. Haven’t seen True Romance yet, been meaning to.

Good explaination.
…
k but for me, without any of the facts or interviews, I like to imagine that the briefcase in Pulp contained something that actually combines each story.
I imagine it to be a sword hilt or something that would eventually be in Kill Bill.
Heh, and while I’m at it, what if it was an artifact from Inglorious Basterds.
But, I’m sure that the case is already a long running argument

How does Django Unchained fit into the universe?
I found this on another website: “At around 2:13:00, the middle of the gunfight at Candyland, one of the gunmen shooting at Django yells out, “Ain’t no nigger gonna kill Maynard!” More than likely he’s the great great (maybe a couple more greats in here somewhere) of Maynard the Pawn Shop guy in Pulp Fiction.”
Hi, I am doing some research on Tarantino and want to know what everyone thinks of the statement "Tarantino is a feminist director."
Thanks
Hi what do you all think of Tarantino being a ‘feminist director’? Do you agree?
It’s actually mentioned by Bill in Kill Bill V2 that the Crazy 88 isn’t actually made up of 88 people, it was just a cool name they wanted to use.
In a few ways. First of all, in the Wanted ad for the Smitty Bacall Gang, there are two gang members with familiar names listed: Gerald Nash and Crazy Craig Koons. It’s very likely that Crazy Craig is an ancestor of Captain Koons (from Pulp Fiction) and that Gerald Nash is an ancestor of the Nash cousins, Gerald (from Natural Born Killers) and Marvin (from Reservoir Dogs). It’s also been speculated that Paula Schultz, the woman who’s grave is featured in Kill Bill, was Dr. King Schutz’ wife. I don’t believe this though. First of all, it would put into question which universe Django Unchained is in (because PF, RD and NBK are all in the Realer Than Real World Universe, while KB is in the Movie Movie Universe). Second of all, we never hear any mention of Dr. Schultz even having a wife. I just think it’s a stretch compared to the descendant theory.
I want to thank you for what a valuable resource this community is. I wanted to make a video connecting the characters from Tarantino’s Universe and about 90% of the connections I found here.
I wanted to share it with you guys. It’s new a complete connection. A few are missing, because I couldn’t connect them in a way that’d make sense narratively and had the pace that I now think it has. I hope it’s still worth a watch, since it definitely worth making!
Cheers:

Connections:
1 - Dr. King Schultz and Paula Schultz – Dr. King Schulz is a character in the movie "Django Unchained,"wich is a German dentist turned bounty hunter. Paula Schultz is the name of the grave that Beatrix Kiddo (The bride) from the movies (Kill Bill Volume 1 and Kill Bill Volume 2) was buried. Paula Schultz was the wife of Dr. King Schultz. While searching the web for these connections I found a theory on the Miramax website that speculated about Dr. King Schultz and why he was in the bounty hunting business at all. In the beginning of the movie, Django asks him how long he has been a dentist and he answers with he had given up dentistry almost five years ago to become a bounty hunter. Dr. King Schultz never talks about family much, but it is speculated that his wife, PAULA, left him and that is why he took up the business. Later his wife realizes the terrible deed she has done and goes out seeking him, only to find he has been killed by Calvin Candie. After hearing this she is so devastated she never gets married again, and keeps Dr. King Schultz’s last name. Finally she dies in 1893, buried with the tombstone that says PAULA SCHULTZ 1823-1893. That’s the same grave that Beatrix Kiddo is buried alive in almost one hundred years later.
2 Django Unchained and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - The Western town set (Melody Ranch) is used for movie Bounty Law and can be seen during the interview with Rick & Cliff.
3-Red Apple Cigarettes - the cigarette brand created by Tarantino can be seen in the films “Django Unchained”, “The Hateful Eight”, “Inglourious Basterds”, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, “Reservoir Dogs”, “Four Rooms”, “Death Proof”, “Planet Terror”, “From Dusk Till Dawn”, "Pulp Fiction”, “Kill Bill Volume 1”. PACK OF RED APPLES, keeping with our theme of Tarantino’s signature brands.

Marvin and Gerald are cousins.
5-Crazy Craig Koons and Captain Koons - Crazy Craig Koons is a member of Gang Bacall. Django Freeman and Dr. King Schultz are searching for their leader, Smitty Bacall, in the movie “Django Unchained”. Captain Koons is a character in “Pulp Fiction”, played by Christopher Walken. Crazy Craig Koons is the Great Great Grandfather of Captain Koons.
6-THE MAYNARDS - RELATIONSHIP: GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER AND GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDSON (ISH). While it’s never explicitly confirmed, the guy who yells out “Ain’t no ni**a gonna kill Maynard!” in Django Unchained is probably named Maynard. Assuming this is true, the rest of his family survived under the knowledge that a black man came through and killed their own kin. Further stoking the fires of what already seemed to be a racist bunch, this otherwise epic story would be the perfect indoctrination for little racist Maynards to pass down from generation to generation. Maybe even to a guy who owns his own pawn shop, complete with sex toys and a leathered gimp downstairs. At least, that what seems to be the case in Pulp Fiction. Pulling a particularly hostile attitude on Marcellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), the great-great grandson (Duane Whitaker) of Maynard is not only a racist, but a sexual deviant with law enforcement assistance (Peter Greene).
7-Oswaldo Mobray and Lieutenant Archibald Hicox - Oswaldo Mobray known as English Pete Hicox he is a gang member outlaw Jody Domergue of the moviev The Hateful Eight. Lieutenant Archibald Hicox is a British Army officer who joins up with The Basterds in Inglourious Basterds. Santanico is a stripper in the club Titty Twister in Mexico, she is also a vampire queen. In “From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman’s Daughter” is revealed that her real name was Esmeralda.
10-Titty Twister - is a vampire bar that appears in the movies “From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman’s Daughter” and "From Dusk Till Dawn”. The curious fact is that in the movie “From Dusk Till Dawn” it is completely destroyed, but in the movie “From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money” there’s another vampire bar with the same name.
11 -Razor Charlie and Razor Eddie – are the brothers working as bartender in Titty Twister, and are also vampires. Razor Charlie appears in the movies “From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman’s Daughter” and “From Dusk Till Dawn”. Razor Eddie in the movie “From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money”.

Floyd loves to smoke weed and watch TV. In “Quentin Tarantino’s Universe”, the character of Lt. Aldo Raine is Floyd’s - aka The pothead on the couch from True Romance - great grandfather.
13-Sergeant Donny Donowitz and filmmaker Lee Donowitz - Sergeant Donny Donowitz is a character in the movie “Inglourious Basterds”, member of the Bastards, known as The Bear Jew. The filmmaker Lee Donowitz is a very successful film producer in Hollywood, character in the movie “True Romance”. Lee is the son of Sergeant Donny Donowitz.
14-Adolf Hitler (historical figure) was the leader of the Nazi Party and head of state of the Third German Reich. He is featured as a character in the Inglourious Basterds, and his image appears in Natural Born Killers when Mickey Knox is watching television at the Hotel.
15-Death Proof — Tarantino’s half of the experimental double feature Grindhouse — introduces audiences to Mike McKay, a murderous stuntman portrayed by Kurt Russell. Fast forward more than a decade, and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood sees Russell cameo as another stunt performer named Randy. Is it possible that these two guys are related? We think it’s highly likely. Sure, the main thing connecting them is their matching profession and Russell’s involvement, but that’s more than enough to make them relatives in Tarantino’s shared universe. For our money, Stuntman Randy is the father of Stuntman Mike and his brother, Bob — as ol’ Randy’s a bit too long in the tooth to be anyone else.
16-Charles Manson (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Natural Born Killers)

25-Jack Rabbit Slim’s – Fifties style restaurant mentioned on the radio during the death of Mr. Blonde in “Reservoir Dogs”. In fact, it is the only restaurant in the movie “Pulp Fiction”.
26-Fruit Brute Cereal - Is another characteristic of Tarantino’s movies, it appears in the movies “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction”. Fruit Brute Cereal.
