Ya know what it is. QT goes out to bars and talks to people about making diff movies and he says: I would cast “so and so” as this person if I ever remade it. That gets out to the person then they tell their PR person to put it in the tabloids that they are gonna be cast in a QT movie.
QT said the same thing about when he was talking about Bastards to different actors at a bar or party. I bet all the people that he talked to and that were once rumored to be in there wont be. Eli Roths name never came up until today.
