Finally watched this today. Definetly the best of Miike’s recent work (For a moment there, It seemed like he couldn’t top the stuff he made in '99 through '02)
I saw the shorter version, but from what I’ve heard elsewhere online is that the shorter cut is being much better recieved than the original longer cut. I’d love to see the longer cut for comparison’s sake, but even the short version warrants enough for a purchase. It’s an entertaining movie and I was surprised how it was meant to tie in with the Corbucci film!
