The thing that’s so interesting to me in terms of the contraversy surrounding this film that I haven’t heard or wondered about myself about how WWII vets will view this movie. And do they really matter? This movie is either going to be a big hit or a big flop, there won’t be any in between, sure it’ll be people who say “yeah, it was ok,” but I think the majority of people will either love it or hate it. My questions is, is QT making this movie for the die hard QT fans? Or is there some sort of point he’s trying to make by making this movie (this way)? Or is he making this movie simply for himself? Or all of the above? Because WWII is a very very sticky and sensitive subject to begin with and sure some Jews might love it for how it portrays them, but I think that QT’s really opening up a can of serious worms with this one. Maybe I’m reading too much into this. I’m going to see it no matter what! No matter what reviews it gets or what have you.
