I guess this is what Romero was trying to avoid - guys like Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi have completely sold out - their work is just too “easy” - they don’t even have to worry about writing a script because someone else will do it for them. They’ve been typecast as these big budget directors like Bay and Lucas.
