Wow, I was expecting a cheap rip off on Street Fighter series, instead I got a kick ass karate classic. Sonny Chiba only has a small supporting role, but thatÂ’s not a bad thing. This movie works on itÂ’s own, having Chiba there is a nice bonus. The movie surprises by offering plenty of good quality fight scenes. Nice soundtrack and a simple but decent kung fu plot also help. At the beginning thereÂ’s a couple of dead moments, but otherwise this is cheesy martial arts entertainment at itÂ’s best.

Presented as an acceptable widescreen version (non anamophic) with english dub. Not such a great presentatinon but not awful either. This is the R rated version. Uncut version has never ben released outside Japan, but there has been rumours of western release coming later this year.
