Has anybody seen the Itchy and Scratchy show in The Simpsons where they spoof Reservoir Dogs?? Its the season 8 one and its called Resevoir Cats with special guest director Quentin Tarantino. Scratchy is tied up on a chair and they are in a similar warehouse, and itchy dances around Scratchy n splashes him with petrol to the “stuck in the middle” theme, then cuts his ear off. And then QT comes n talks briefly about violence n how its in cartoons and cereals n then Itchy cuts his head off n him and scratchy start dancing like the uma and Vince scene in Pulp to a misirlou type theme. Its well funny, you should see it!!!
Yeah that’s a great episode, anymore Tarantino homages in the Simpsons?
Some cool sites to check out…

Cool sites, good work.
Lou: You know, the funniest thing though, it’s the little differences.
Wiggum: Example.
Lou: Well, at McDonald’s you can buy a Krusty Burger with cheese, right? But they don’t call it a Krusty Burger with cheese.
Wiggum: Get out! Well, what do they call it?
Lou: A Quarter Pounder with cheese.
I seem to recall this one where Bart is loitering with this girl, and miserlou is playing.
I also love the episode where REM are in it, it’s so funny and Michael is so damn hot!

The best epidsode ever is where they come to England on holiday, they give us a right slagging off and the episode feautures Sir Ian Mckellen, JK Rowling and Tony Blair, So watch it now!

I just watched it. Hilarious.

No.  Shut up now.
The Marsellus/Butch/Maynard parody and the Jules/Vincent parody are both in the episode "22 Short Films About Springfield."
It’s one of the best.  If you don’t think that is a great Simpsons episode, you suck.[/quote]
well i guess i suck then. oh well. and i really dont wacth the show often. only when my friend brings over his simpsons dvds and wants to watch them. so ive probably only seen maybe 10 episodes of the show in my life.
there is an episode were there are somethin like three stories and it all comes togather in the final one. its were homer looses his thumb. i guess one of the writers really likes QT.
They also spoofed a scene from Reservoir Dogs. Guess which one.

Is Homer losing his thumb a four rooms spoof? I don’t remember if it was the thumb or the pinkey…
Does he have a pinkey? He has only four fingers

ha ha, very true.
Anybody notice the ‘Simpson’ version of Tarantino on the T-shirt he was wearing during the ‘making of Volume 2’ on the Volume 2 DVD?
oh yeah, that was awesome, i’ve gotta get me one of those. Do you know what the shirt says?
l"ike how violence is in are everyday society like in breakfast cereals." something like that
Someone suggested it might be what he said in that Simpsons episode where he appears in the itchy and scratchy show from which I recall it goes something like
"Violence is everywhere, it’s like even in our breakfast cereals man!"

LOLLOLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL!!!
I love Itchy & Scratchy more than every other cartoon, more than Simpsons itself. And I love their episodes with guest directors. Like once it was Oliver Stone. The episode was black and white, very serious, grim music and Scratchy is being brought to the courtroom, there are guys in suits with sunglasses, and Scratchy looks like a real criminal. Then Itchy squeezes through reporters and photographers and shoots Scratchy in heart. Everyone starts yelling, episode ends like Itchy just made a successful assassination. Oh god I just can’t describe, but I was loughing out loud. I even have that episode in computer, so I watch it again and again.

I’m sure there’s a thread for Pulp references in other movies, but can’t find it…
I just happen to have seen Shrek again and when Shrek and Donkey are talking I got something that sounds like a reference to Vincent and Jules “Royale with cheese” dialogue:
Shrek: There’s much more to ogres than people think… you know?
Donkey: (looking to his side) Example?
