Forgive me if this is already a topic…I searched and didn’t find one…

I was curious about how many of you had seen this movie, and what your feelings on it were.

I personally felt it was an incredibly beautiful, sexually positive movie. It displayed one of the most healthy view of sex I have ever seen in a movie, and it really stayed with me a while after I watched it.

This, however will be a movie that flies right over the heads of two groups of people. Those who won’t watch it because they think its pornography, and those who do watch it because they think its pornography. I really feel sorry for these people.

Now, what do the ol’ Tarantino fans think?

Well I only know of the movie from a four part documentary I was watching about sex in the movies on IFC but I have not had the chance to see the movie.

I am opposed to censorship of any kind in film and I like when people truthfully discuss sex. But I think the trailer for that film looks, well, kind of shit. I read this interview with the director before the film was released and he came across as a bit of a wanker. I just couldn’t see him as an artist. I just think it isn’t enough to celebrate sex, you need to actually make a good film. But, hey, I may be wrong. You obviously think it’s a good film.
