Dexpac has the process down if your doing it on your own. Agents are expensive as hell. As long as you protect your work with copywriting and WGA and check out the production company. What do you have to loose? Make sure that check clears and then sign if things go well.
Everyone makes up their own mind anyways. Phone calls to see who to send query letters too and treatments etc. All that takes a lot of money and time for a lot of hits and misses. Either way, you’ve got to get out there and sell it if it’s what you wanna do.
