I can’t really choose between the mail performances, for the leading role. But I’d like to see Marion Cotillard for the women because it’d be so cool a French wins this award.

No hesitation for the supporting role : Casey Affleck and Cate Blanchett FOR SURE.

And No Country For Old Men for the cast performance.

I’m disappointed that Brad Pitt (Jesse James) or James McCavoy (Atonement) haven’t been nominated. Both were phenomenal in their respected films.

There Will Be Oscars

#5

Yes, but still. It’s always nice to see people get the props they deserve.

True, Brad Pitt is awesome in the movie, but in a way I was even more impressed by Casey Affleck. The whole movie was really really great.

True, but one of them was the lead actor and the other was a supporting actor. No reason why they both can’t be nominated. Oh well, I think Pitt will win the Oscar. His performance reminded me of that of Pacino’s in Godfather 2. Very subtle yet powerful.

Edit : I wish Viggo Mortensen will win for Eastern Promises. I totally forgot that was the english title of the movie. :stuck_out_tongue: He’s great in it. Especially this scene all naked (no further spoilers).
