Sample from the song "about her"

i consider myself a pro at the art of google-ing, however i cant seem to find out anything about malcolm mclure’s about her, for istance what song is sampled, and is it a remake of an older song, like my dad had said. if anyone could answer these questions i would greatly appreciate it ;D

If I’m not mistaken the music itself is original, but the singing is mixed from a 60s song by The Zombies called “She’s not there”, and the female voice is from a song called “St. Louis Blues”.

;D very good! i feel relief now, that was bugging me since i saw the movie when it first came out. thanks!

Anytime bro, glad I could help you out.
