Well I don’t watch US networks (or any TV for that matter), but I’m just guessing that the media exposure of Heath’s death would draw a little more attention to TDK, it’s really simple. I’m 100% sure that this crossed the minds of some execs at the WB studio.
but WHATEVER. It’s due in half a year. there’s no point in discussing this further.
as for movie world/real world - man, all i was saying that i strictly disconnect those two.
For example, I remember someone at the IMDB forums saying that she couldn’t find pleasure in Planet Terror and especially Rose McGowan’s part, because that person knew that Rose was (as she said) was giving up a marriage for Robert. WTF? What has her movie part have to do with her private life? nothing.
i also don’t care if Tom Cruise is with Scientology or not. Or if he sacrifices virgins to Kali every night, it does not make his acing any less good or bad.
you have to seperate the actor from the role he is playing. if the Joker dies in TDK, I don’t rule out the possibility that there is an arkward moment there where you think “Damn, that guy who plays him really IS dead”, but it shouldn’t happen, because part of the fun of going into movies is leaving the real world behind, leave the baggage at the entrance and immerse into the movie’s world.
like somebody else has already said too, the same applies for me - I am as said about Ledger’s death as I am about the death of any person - even a little more because it affects me a little more because he has entertained me in the past and would have so in the future - and that’s it.
wow, look how much time i’ve spent explaining things to you.
time for a banana and peanut butter sandwich…
