Has anyone seen or heard of anything like this before?

It says it comes out 07/06/04.

Whatdya think?

I’ve never seen this “cover” actually, but i think the bonus material included is very similar to the the “Special Edition” packages (Each Color) made by Artisan.

Anyway, i wouldn’t mind a brand-new release! 8)

it’s the first time i hear about this, but it was only a matter of time, till our dear friends in England also get the 2-Disc treatment.

Currently, this is the DVD ranking of reservoir dogs:

  1. German SE (best image quality, subtitles, no 4:3)) region 2
  2. Australian SE (better colors than US, no 4:3) region 4
  3. US SE (downsides: 4:3 version, bad contrast) region 1
  4. England (very old DVD, no extras) region 2

Wow I should have waited for the R2 version :-/

It could be the best yet, it’s from momentum pictures. They did the orignial RD DVD and that had a decent picture quality considering that in mind it’s got all the goodies of the R1 SE aswell. ;D

They also have covers for each charecter here at play.com

http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=search&adudisc=y

Release date is 14/06 though. But I can wait a week to get my copy with mr. Pink cover.

Obviously the link isn’t working so go to www.play.com

and type reservoir dogs to search field and that should do it.

#7

i hope it be released in spain too, i am waiting for the special edition since a long time.

#8

The covers are sweet, not as good as the R1 covers but still pretty cool.

Thanks for the link, Miika.

Just one question - to anyone - before I stick all my credit card details into this thing…is Play.com a UK site, or will at least deliver to the UK for free?

Sorry to be a lazy asshole, but I usually can’t see these things until it’s too late…

And another…anyone seen it cheaper?

Ahh, Hell, one final question…which cover should I get?

They all look so Goddamn cool!

#11

It’s a UK site and delivers to the UK for free.

Play.com is a top site i use them all the time, also play usa for my region 1 dvd’s.

I got the Resevoir Dogs special Edition today… and it’s fuckin’ sweeeet. The cover looks better than any of my other DVD’s. I’ve only watched the opening sequence so far and the menu screen is fuckin’ sweet too!! Looking forward to checking out the other features!!

I really wonder why nobody is buing it. I mean… HELL it’s out! I have no single order listed. Do the brits hate amazon or whats up. Back when I put up a banner for the american SE, there were thousands of pre-orders… how bizarre… and the region2 is actually a lot better… i dont get it

#16

Amazon isn’t really popular here and so i think that’s the reason. I went to pick my copy up from the shops and there aren’t very many people that I know who are into Tarantino, I have to convert most of them, so I don’t know where the people who have bought the DVD’s have bought them from!!

i was just wondering. because the no2 visitors are british here and i think it’s bizarre how they dont buy at amazon at all, and the americans buy like crazy…

It’s popularity is growing…slowly… but yeh it’s not that popular, yet over here.
