Hitch was one of the founding fathers of film. He was also a bad-ass, as quoted earlier, who hired and fired whomever he felt like. He was the ultimate in directors, and to this day - no one has been more influential in this artform. Brian DePalma has rightfully earned a spot on the list of top directors, but he is no Alfred Hitchcock. He is more like a Michael Mann or Martin Scorsese. At least you don’t go on and on about Roman Polanski ;D ;D ;D
