Just found this pic of them from 2001. There are dozens from The Mexican premier but never seen this one before. They both look like hippies, cute hippies.

i totally agree! I thought i was the only one who thought that she isn’t very pretty at all… and lets face it, her movies aren’t the best/ most entertaining either…
If he was going out with Sofia Coppola, it’s only because of her dad (Francis Ford Coppola)…I’m sure QT has excellent taste in women…look who he cast in Kill Bill.
Seen all of Coppola Junior’s movies (All two of them) and I cannot believe she won an Oscar for Lost In Translation. I also cannot believe she has cast Kirstin Dunst as Marie Antoniette. She has a lot to learn.

i think that depends a lot on how you define “dating”. i mean, they made a movie together, they were both single at the time and they are movie stars… and above all, they are adult human beings… so I think its very much possible that they had something like “an affair” or they “dated”.
but as current interviews prove, he is currently together with coppola, and, - her movies aside - i think that’s a good thing that a director and a director are together

well sofia coppola isnt the hottest tamale, but she isnt buckled… I’ve seen worse.

But HE DIRECTED HER!!! He should’ve known better.
But I think his judgement was clouded by his love for his daughter. And from what I’ve read, she didn’t even want to be in the movie. She did it as a favor for her father after Wynona Ryder had to bail out at the last minute.
It’s fine if you’re not a fan of Sofia, since there’s many celebrities I don’t like and can’t stand either. But you seem to have a serious personal dislike or hatred of the woman. May I ask why?
And if you’re sticking by the GODFATHER III excuse above, then that’s not reason enough to be this personally angry at her. There must be something else she has done to seriously piss you off. I’m really curious to know what that is, if you care to share with the rest of us.

My only excuse for disliking her. The Godfather films are some of the greatest in film history and I strongly believe that Godfather III would have been absolutely brilliant if not for her.
It is like Quentin coming away with a fantastic war epic and casting himself in the main role
Also Adaptation should have won Best Screenplay at the Oscars. She is overrated.
And if you think my hatred for her is strong, you really dont want to get me started on Noah Wyle.

As for GODFATHER III, as much as I love Coppola’s work, I still blame him for the outcome of that movie. But that’s me.

Are you sure? I seem to remember Einstein having an IQ of 220 or something. And I do know others have had higher IQ’s.
Also on IMDB it says:
Has a reported IQ of 160 & Has an IQ measured at 160, despite dropping out of high school.
whatever about the QT IQ. because the tests to know your IQ are not the same, so if you get an IQ of 160 with one test, you can have 120 with another… And it depends of much more (if you’re tired this day, nervous, and so on…)
so even QT can never really know his IQ… and it doesn’t change alot that he has an IQ of 160 or 120, does it ?
