Naked Quentin? You mean, really naked aka full frontal nudity or just topless… ?

Unfortunately I can’t get the movie here in germany…but maybe naked QT would be too hot to handle for me anyway

;D

Nah you don’t see anything - he strips off camera and you get to see…legs and chest before he jumps into the pool. The film’s really not that good anyway - so you’re not missing much at all.

You see more flesh in that short film “Dance me to the end of love”.

I wouldn’t say that. There’s more flesh in destiny. In Dance me you only really saw him topless…

I’d say Desperado too.

DESPERADO

Tarantino’s acting is more a novelty, but I quite like to see it. It kind of shows just how into his movies he is when he takes an acting role in them… But that said I still think his directing skills are a teency bit better than his acting… Okay a lot better, but I still like to see Tarantino out there acting!!!

I can’t wait to see him in the Muppets Wizard of Oz. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, my favorite performance of his is probably Pick-Up Guy from Desperado.

I think he’s alright. Not completely terrible, just barely on the side of acceptable. I do think small cameos in his films are cool, though, especially if they don’t require a serious role. Apparently he was one of the Crazy 88s in KB1, however I think it should have been a little more obvious it was him.

The one exception I thought was From Dusk 'Til Dawn, he was good in it, but he was basically playing a similar character. Kinda geeky, yet involved in criminal activity. The whole idea of him being a rapist was interesting but sadly about halfway through FDTD, when the vampires started showing up, it went to pieces and that idea was never expanded upon. I preferred the first half as it was like a serious drama but descended to farce by the half way point. He did look like a very unusual vampire though.

Also in Alias I thought he was just about believable. I have only seen his two season one appearances as of yet though.

I think that QT’s acting is very good but i have ownly saw him in PF And RD and i liked his “Like a

Virgin”'s speech ;D He is the Best… around

He has did alright but i think thats because they have been small parts. But we got to remeber when he hosted saturday night live. Now that doesnt mean much cause they do have really horrible actors on there alot. But he did do really good for a director. The best was when he was the train conductor who killed hoboes. Really a classic, and the preacher in Nicky was excellent to.

sniff i didn’t see that, does anyone have it??

Quentin is as good of an actor as any mother fucker out there. NO shit he isn’t marlon brando, but he is still fuckin good. I think he is just as good as travolta, the thing is, he plays the same exact role in every fuckin movie. Thats just what i think

tarantino can act. that is why he is a good director.

Are you being serious?

HE CAN ACT, if he couldn’t he had never appeared in Four Rooms, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Desperado. Close this stupid thread.

I recently saw Four Rooms and he was acting really good, I’m not analysing his every move and he was just like others.

I think, personally, it really adds to a director’s qualities, if they have acted in the past. and yeah it helps when the act well like QT does imho

Tell me your kidding? So you are trying to say people don’t feature in films unless they know how to act? What kind of bullshit is that. He appeared in Reservoir Dogs because he had the power to make himself appear in it same goes with Pulp Fiction. He appeared in Desperado because he is a very close friend of Robert Rodriguez. I also don’t analyse his every move on purpose with the intention of knit-picking. When he appeared in RD he almost ruined that whole opening scene. It is not only members here that don’t like his acting, he has been blasted by established critics too.

Yes, he can act, but he is very, very poor at it. He was ok in FDTD and even for the most part in PF and in Desperado. He needs to learn to be cool (kind of ironic), he tries to show off too much and sometimes comes across as annoying because of it.

Given everything I said, I would like him to appear in all his future films in small roles. I wouldn’t want him not to appear and I wouldn’t want him to appear for more than say 10 minutes.

Anyway, people have a right to their opinions. Just because YOU say that he can act and putting it in capital letters, doesn’t mean it is so. People have differring views. You also have no right to say “Close this stupid thread”, and by saying something that stupid yourself, I don’t even know why you bothered contributing. Anyway, I have seen on various occassions where you yourself have come up with some of the most retarded shit ever.

Not really…and for a guy who actually went to acting school, I’d expect him to be better than he does. Don’t get me wrong, he’s not awful, or bad…he just doesn’t really have the skill, and when you look at him, do you really see him as an actor? If I saw him for the first time, he wouldn’t strike me as an actor, probably because the way he looks doesn’t show much electric personality… But who cares anyways, it’s still cool to see him appear in any film.

What do you mean he ruined the opening scene in RD? HOW?

Anyway you always get so enraged whenever I say something to people that get on my nerves with their “yeah I think he can act, but he’s really bad, I admit that because I was staring at every scene where he appeared waiting for him to ruin everything because he’s so fucking TERRIBLE.”

He was great in FDTD, the scene where he beats up that pussy advertising guy was so fucking funny, and actually Clooney pissed me off NOT Tarantino, he was acting cool, like if he wasn’t, but situations when he’s aiming at innocent people with his shiny gun made him cool enough to be in a goddamn movie. Nobody I discussed FDTD with didn’t give a shit about his acting skills, and then I come here and I see this thread. It’s a bit hypocritical from people who DISCUSS and GIVE THEIR OPINIONS as if they realized HOW BAD Quentin was, but FORGIVED him about ruining their movies.

Actually how can you tell a good actor from a bad one? The only good actor is the one who never thinks he’s famous or that he has to be cool or whatever, WHEN he’s acting. There are a lot of actors who realize that they have so many fans and everything and you can feel that they know that every second they act.
