I read an interview where QT said :
"some people don’t like violence in movies because it’s a mountain they can’t climb. So, they say, we gotta stop to do violent movies. That’s bullshit. If I didn’t like dance sequences in movies, it wouldn’t mean I’d have to prevent movies from containing dance sequences. (…) If you want something to climb, I’ll give you something to climb. In a movie. Now if you’re crazy and like violence in real life, then you’re really violent and dangerous, because you don’t get the difference between movies and real life."
that’s more or less what he said, I read it a loooooong time ago…I ain’t sure it’s quite accurate.
