A sheep is one who blindly follows someone (or persons, or trends etc.) without being able to think for themselves and make their own mind up about things.
Being inspired by other directors does not make you a sheep. Otherwise the whole film industry is full of sheep.

I’ve been on this forum for about a year. Before I joined I was a regular visitor. You posted a comment that seemed broad and insulting towards everyone.
