that’s a good shot. try bracketing the same shot: f1.8, f2.8,f5.6,f8,f11,f16,f22…the focus being on the reflection of the clouds on the water.

Does your camera have a lens in which you can change the aperature? The shot was well composed and it is clear that you have an artistic eye for photography. I was just wondering if you understood the different outcomes of using different aperatures. If not, you should invest in your hobby by learning about it.
Ah, I see. No, it’s a regular digital camera, the kind that everybody has. Thanks for the tip!
go buy an slr that has a normal lens - 50mm where you can set the aperature and shutter speed - a canon rebel - if you buy a film camera it won’t cost much and the pictures will be a hell of a lot better than any digital can do. Just horse around with it and you will figure it all out.

The guy I was with, we were mostly just walking around these kinda places, great atmosphere, no Big Ben bullshit, I never went to the centre, and yeah, at this point he just told me to look closely, haha
