Yeah, you are right. It’s actully bad that people always refer all martial arts movies as Kung-Fu films. And I have been doing that too, so I’ll stop it now.
I just realized that it may help Tony Jaa’s career a lot that they are doing this Mua Thai stuff in their movies. It’s something new, something that people haven’t seen before. I’m not sure but I think read somewhere that Mua Thai hasn’t really been shown in movies before because they didn’t want to reveal all those techniques and secrets of Mua Thai to normal people (like when in the 60’s some Chinese people didn’t want Bruce Lee to teach Kung-Fu to western people).
