Also, if you want to dump the streaming ETV clips to your harddrive, you can use a proggie called NetTransport to actually save streal RealVideo files. Pretty neat! Download it for free at: http://lycos26486.l78.lycos.com.cn/default.htm

could someone plese tell me how you actually download streaming files to your hard drive with this program (NetTransport)? for example:

http://hulk.kamera.com/meta/2003/0930/292/28269-R1.ram

rtsp://demand1.stream.aol.com:554/wb/gl/wbonline/extra/2003/dailynews/ki%20llbill0929.rm%20

anyone? ;D

#13

Ferryl, when it’s a ram and you download the ram file with Net Transport you can open the .ram file with Notepad (text editor program). INside is just the .rm link to the actual video-file. Just copy the .rm link in Net Transport.

one of the links is:

rtsp://kamerarm.fplive.net/kamera/2003/

0930/28269-R1.rm

rtsp://demand1.stream.aol.com:554/wb/gl/

wbonline/extra/2003/dailynews/killbill0929.rm

make sure there is no empty space in the link, here in this forum the links to video files seem to get a %20 inside them so servers cannot see this forum is actually linking to the files… (do copy and paste instead of clicking)

thanks a lot, I got it

btw does the program netpumper contain any spyware, o adware? and can it also rip streaming windows media files? I hope you can answer these questions.
