I quit after the third season. But MI3 is very similiar to Alias IMO: the structure (starting from near the end, the international locations (Shanghai, Vatican…), the way the action scenes were shot, some of the new characters (the tech guy), main themes (a secret agent trying to have a normal relationship)…
