MillaJ Music

MillaJ music:

In 1994, Milla released her critically acclaimed folk album, The Divine Comedy. Inspired by a love of “elves and magic trees”, Milla wrote the lyrics at 15 and recorded the album when she was just 16. Acoustic, folky, and hard to categorize, the eleven songs on The Divine Comedy are laced with Slavic sadness and X-istential self-doubt. “In a Glade” is a beautiful traditional Ukrainian folk song that Milla sings in her native tongue.

Until this day she continues to write music. And what most of you don’t know is that Milla could of had an illustrious carrer in music but she hated the idea of selling out on the one thing that she is very fond of.

I downloaded this album a long time ago. I think The Gentleman Who Fell is the only

track I still have.

It’s a beautiful album. The website has other tracks that have never been released by the way. My personal faavorites is “Calm Water” and “In a Glade”.

A beautiful Ukranian folk song.

Can you translate the lyrics for mt…that is if you fully understand it…

You’ve got the whole translation in the video. She repeats every verse twice and then comes the refrain. Everything’s translated.
