[/quote]Wow, first I’ve read of this. What horrible news. Bought the Criterion DVD a year or two ago, and love the film. As well as the included short film No C4 For Daniel Daniel. Just shows there were some truly creative minds at work on the film, and it’s a shame to see someone with so much untapped potential silenced. A shame the creative minds behind the film never were able to collaborate again and deliver another brilliant film to the world. Just a bummer all around.
Did some searching, seems Remy was brothers with Lucas Belvaux - and he seems to be quite the director. Anyone seen any of his films? His “Trilogy” series looks very interesting to me.
