Kill Bill Vol.2 International Releases Thread
Hm, I don’t know anymore. Up until this week The Odeon advertised release date in England for the 16th April, now it says the 23rd April on their website >:(
wtf?
So does it definatly mean, they start later?

yep, it looks that way. I had hoped that the Odeon would be having the premiere and then 1 week of exclusive pre-screenings before it goes on nationwide release on the 23rd, just like the Empire did with Vol1. But that looks unlikely now. Also, the posters of Vol2 in the Underground say the 23rd and mention nothing pre-screenings.  :frowning:

I think that this only suggests that there will be no pre-screens. The release date is not postponed.

As of Saturday (4/4): 24th April in New Zealand.

18 more days.

So to sum up, i’ll be the only one who’s gonna wait until May 16th/17th =(

MAY? You wrote May? That is so …can´t find a word for it! I wished you would live next to the frontier, so you could see it earlier…

btw

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIA, REALLY I WISH YOU THE BEST!

Thanx for my birthday btw ;D

Plus, with the red letters!! :o

I love you :stuck_out_tongue:

Have TV spots been showing up in other countries yet?

I’ve just started seeing some this week, but they were absolute shit. One just showed the bride in her car, and the other was pretty much the same with some shots of Bill and Budd thrown in. Both were pretty much just abbreviations of the teaser. The US TV spots were a lot better…

Now that we have confirmation of a trailer, though, perhaps we might start seeing some more footage. With the trailer released so late there’s probably a greater chance of seeing it at the cinemas as well…

Hey thanx for that spaghetti! I was looking everywhere. A bit of a let down though… three and a half months longer to wait  :frowning:

Also, the soundtrack is set for release down under on the 26th of April according to HMV Australia.

Edit: On the site Spaghetti_Western posted, there’s also a link to a review of the region 4 DVD rental version. While the review might not be anything special there was a mention that a slight difference between the R1 and R4 release is that the R4 release only gets two trailers (the Vol.1 theatrical and “bootleg” trailers). Just thought it was worth a mention…

awsome to hear the soundtrack is coming. although i allready got it and its awsome. if your wondering how me an australian got it, lets just say… MIRC, but dont worry im still going to buy it when it is released.

My bro just bought a R3 Kill Bill DVD off ebay.com.au…it should be here soon…supposedly uncut and fully uncensored…

hopefully its not BS…

Kill Bill Vol. 2 will officially open on April 28th in New Zealand. They’ve started putting up the posters everywhere and have some spots on tv like interviews and such. The most hilarious place that I’ve seen them putting up a poster so far is in the ladies’ at the downtown shopping mall.

Saw a poster at Whitcouls advertising the DVD and it comes out after the movie release. Can’t remember the date now…

what the fuck??

why is KB being released to buy in Australia in fucking August?? damn this bogan country…

Here’s some Kill Bill Vol. 2 competitions that i’ve heard about for people in Australia:

incinemas.com.au are giving away a limited edition zip-front top. You need to sign up for their newsletter.

Hoyts Cinemas are giving away the CD Soundtracks, tracksuit pants, leather wrist straps and tickets to the film.

FoxFm (Melbourne) are giving away tickets to a preview screening of Volume 2. I’m not sure about radio stations in other states.
