1. O-Ren Ishii a.k.a. Cottonmouth- Lucy was great so this is a tough one, but what about Kelly Hu. She was great in Scorpion King and kicked Wolverines ass in X2. Plus the added fact that she’s not bad to look at doesn’t hurt her cause.
2. Vernita Green a.k.a. Copperhead- Vivica’s role was small but her character is vital for the mythology of Kill Bill seeing as it’s her offspring that’s the focus of the Kill Beatrix saga that should begin in a few more years. I can see Vanessa Williams in this role, I think it would be cool to see Miss America kick some ass on screen.
3. Budd a.k.a. Sidewinder- This is probably the hardest one because Michael Madsen is the king of cool. This guy is, next Bill himself of course, the best part of Volume 2 for me. Let me give this a little more thought. OK let’s have Steve Buscemi or Jeff Bridges tackle this role. Steve hasn’t been in a QT film since Pulp Fiction, so him playing Budd would be so bad ass in my opinion. And Jeff Bridges is just the coolest fucking guy in The Big Lebowski you can’t not but consider him for this role.
4. Elle Driver a.k.a. California Mountain Snake- OK this is way easier than Budd was I think Ashley Judd or Jennifer Connely would have been pretty cool as the bitch from hell. Both Ashley and Jennifer take these good person roles and they both are great actresses in my opinion so to see them in this type of role in a QT film is like something that happens maybe once in a lifetime.
5. Bill a.k.a. Snake Charmer- David was simply put terrific hence the Golden Globe nomination. QT originally had Warren Beatty and after him was Kevin Costner both I think would have been bad ass especially the latter. So it’s very hard to think of a person that could have given another worthy Golden Globe performance but I think Clint Eastwood would have been the greatest fucking movie casting in the history of modern cinema. Could you imagine Clint playing the role of Bill. It’s something my brain can barely deal with. But alas it’s only a wet dream.
6. Beatrix Kiddo a.k.a. Black Mamba- The role of Kiddo that was always intended for Uma, a role that was written for Uma, a role that waited for her during her pregnancy. If this isn’t the toughest thing to change than I don’t really know what is. After careful considerations I think Bridget Fonda or Julianne Moore are in my opinion the best. It doesn’t hurt her cause that her father was Henry Fonda and played one of the most bad ass bad guys in Once Upon a Time in the West. And Julianne is an Oscar winning actress that is extremely under rated in her acting ability and her looks. She’s a babe.
