Sally Menke is GREAT!! The work shes done on QTs previous films is just outstanding. You can bet your money shes gonna put this movie together PERFECTLY.
9 Weeks, thats around early-mid December then. Plus if QT and Sally have started editing, the film will definitely be in the can by Cannes this Spring. Coooooooooool 
as Alex just informed me (he got that from “crew people”):
obviously they’re currently taking a break for the thanksgiving hollidays. They’re going to shoot on a soundstage this week (the scenes inside Bill’s hacienda). Then they move to mexico for the final fight (must be a beach, of course!) and then they’re gonna shoot till february. They’re taking another break for X-mess (pun intended).

Is there a possibility QT added another chapter to KB besides the Massacre at 2 Pines?
why is that?
just because we haven’t heard much about Kill Bill (in general i think we know pretty much NOTHING about whats going on besides a few fistfuls of info every once in a while) doesnt mean they changed everything we KNEW.

Seb, there were originally 10 chapters in the script. QT removed 2 of them and added a new one. I think there IS a possibility he mightve added one more. Qt definitely created alot more stuff for the final film. All you have to do is read the set reports. Hell, look at the new pics you just posted, I dont remember The Bride on her motorcycle chasing any Mercedes in the script. Harry even stated he saw some scenes that werent in the original script!
shooting finished, as everyone knows. post-production now.
i hope we get more news soon about the material
as far as I know, volume 2 still isn’t finished. I can imagine that editing on vol2 is even on hold to be able to react upon the impact. I can figure that if Vol 2 seems too long or short to some people they might think of making vol2 shorter than vol1 or maybe they’ll react to the violence a bit or whatever.
In a german interview Tarantino said that he has still to do a lot of editing work on Volume 2.
He even finished half of the work when he was over here in europe.
