Perhaps I should’ve been more detailed my original comments about what I mean’t.  I’m not saying Uma represents asian actresses. That wasn’t my point. My point was her winning the Oscar would be a celebration of the genre itself. Not because she’s Asian or represents the genre, but because her performance put a spotlight on the genre and therfore was worthy of such a award.  ÂÂ

Excuse Kill Bill for it’s shortcomings? What are your smokin? I know all of Kill Bill’s shortcomings. I never claimed it was a perfect film in the first place. shakes head C’mon man, you can do better than that. BTW: What’s the point of you on this board to begin with. You don’t like Kill Bill so you join this board and foam at the mouth about how you’re so smart for not liking it and were dumb for liking. Bottom line, all the foaming at the mouth isn’t going to change people’s opinions.
