Kill Bill as one Movie

Yes, Kill Bill is technically one movie, but you guys have it all wrong. Maybe it was already supposed to be like that or maybe it was because of the actual split, but Volume 1 and Volume 2 have two distinct seperate styles. Volume 1 is more action oriented and doesn’t really have much of a plot at all, while Volume 2 relies more on story and dialogue, and is really about the emotions of all the characters. I think that if KB had been released as one movie then everything would have felt more connected and you probably wouldn’t really feel satisfied just watching one half at a time, but the way QT edited it, each Volume works as a film in itself and it also works as one film overall when you combine the volumes. If QT had just gone “chop chop” and just released each half without really doing any editing, then those arguments would be valid. But we all know that KB was never going to be a 3 hour 45 minute film, and so QT most likely added more substance to each part to make them stand on their own.
