Yeah, I remember watching Our Gang and the Little Rascals. those were good fun.
just watched that movie I was talking about, “Kenny & Co.”, last night. It was pretty good and captured the freewheeling days of the youthful '70s quite well.

just like the review says, it has no real plot to speak of, just the progression of days leading up to Halloween, so it does have a direction, a momentum to keep you interested. It is basically a “hang-out movie” as Quentin likes to call them as we get to know the characters over several days and their interactions with each other.
… also an interesting thing to note (if QT really did watch this movie) is a possible link to “Kill Bill”. There is a character in this movie, a crazy old lady called Mrs. Walker, who lives alone in a big old spooky house and supposedly lies in wait for intruders with a shotgun loaded with rock salt! I wonder if Budd knew this crazy old lady…! ![]()
