And as long as you have a personality, becuase personality goes a long way. Any way, back on topic, JB is an amazin movie. This is how i see QT’s movies: Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Jackie Brown, Death Proof. JB is essentially QT’s blaxploitation movie, so thats definitely a cool thing. Personally, i think that Pam Grier should have been the first African American actress to win an oscar for lead actress, for her role in this movie, not Halle Berry, for i think monster’s ball. The only thing about it is that it’s an adaptation, so that’s why it may not seem to all people to be a true Tarantino movie. QT has said that JB is 50% himself and 50% Leonard. He also told that he got his whole dialogue style from Elmore Leonard, that is “characters allow mundane conversation to run on”. For that reason, it seems fitting for QT do adapt a Leonard novel, and as Elmore has said, this is the best adaptation of one of his novels.
