I have The Thing With Two Heads on DVD. Its really funny. I dont really consider it a blaxploitation film though. Its more of a sci-fi exploitation film to me. Theres another one called The Incredible Two Headed Transplant thats really fun too. Bruce Dern and Casey Kasem are in it. Instead of a white guy and black guy being connected, its a criminal and a retarded guy. Fun stuff.
True. But its poster was printed in Rolling Thunder’s WHAT IT IS…WHAT IT WAS so thats why I included it. Then again, I dont consider [b]The Greatest[b] or Cooley High to be “Blaxpos” as well. :
Hey, I just checked out the Badazzmofo site and wouldnt ya know! BAMF#7 is about to hit the stands! Cant wait!
Gettin a little off topic here (But still in QT territory) You a spaghetti western fan? Or you know of any others here? Because Navajo Joe (Widescreen) comes on this Monday morning on Turner Classic Movies. Every spaghetti fan has to check this one out…Especially for Joe’s Badasss theme song which definetly sounds like it belongs in a QT picture.
Spaghetti westerns! Yep, Im a big fan of those. Last year TCM had a weekly spaghetti western night, they showed 4 or 5 movies each week. So I taped em all. I even got Navajo Joe on tape. Speaking of which, I have a great 2 cd compilation of Ennio Morricones film scores and it includes the theme to Navajo Joe
"AHHHHHHHH-AHHHHHH-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Navajo Joe Navajoe Joeeeeeeeeeeee!!"
I love that spaghetti western music! You can see where QT got his inspiration for using surf music as his “rock n roll spaghetti western music”.
Spaghetti Westerns, are technically only the Sergio Leone flicks. Mainly, the man with no name trilogy. (Which is funny because he does have a name in those movies) They started as a derogatory name for his flicks, because they claimed an Italian could not make a good movie about America. They realized they were wrong later, and it became a positive term.
Wrong again Spongeblob. Spaghetti Westerns are any western films made by Italian directors in the 60s and 70s. Sergio Leone was the father of that genre. Theres no debate about that.
The classification was broadened later, but it started describing his films specifically.
What is your fave spaghetti western Vega?

I gotta give it to ya Laydback, you know your stuff 8)
Yep The Ennio Morricone Anthology is the shit! Great music on the 2 cds From Fistful Of Dollars to The Untouchables.
The Hellbenders: I taped last year from TCM. It was one of the films they showed during the spaghetti western month. It stars Joseph Cotten. Its not bad, but Ive seen better.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is unparalleled. The cinematography is fucking amazing too…
Where can I get that CD?
(in an italian accent)
Ah, Il Buono Il Brutto Il Cattivo

Ennio Morricone Anthology : A Fistful of Film Music
Ciao!
When my Jackie Brown site was in full swing (dying a slow death over at http://come.to/jackiebrown) Miramax was kind enough to send me a couple Teriyaki Donut cups. They’re collecting dust up in my closet now, but they sure are neat!
Holy Shit! I just checked out THE BLACK GESTAPO last night. Maan, this shit is a trip!!! Definetly worth a look when you’re in one of those late night-Grindhouse movie moods!
Check out this article on it:
<LINK_TEXT text=“http://www.badmovieplanet.com/inferno/a … stapo.html”>http://www.badmovieplanet.com/inferno/archives/blackgestapo.html</LINK_TEXT>
The DVD comes with another blaxpo flick, THE BLACK SIX. All for about $8 at Best Buy!. Give it a look if you dare!
I really Love Jackie Brown. I think Jackie Brown is Quentin Tarantino’s Best Film. Jackie Brown is my number tenth favorite film tied with Brian De Palma’s Scarface(1983) Starring Al Pacino.
Wanted to bump this for Mr. Blonde.
