Introducing: The Deuce

#481

I wish the zombie talk would heighten since that’s my favorite genre - more than anything I like surrealistic approaches to horror films like the Bava Giallo movies, and Argento. I actually did quite a few reviews for those films: Romero, Carpenter, Bava, Argento. I’d do more, but I’m short on cash to buy DVDs. You know Pete, you should stream free movies. Youtube does it, why can’t you?

I appreciate all your work on it B. Your reviews etc are welcome anytime you feel like doing something.

You should check out AMCTV’s streaming B-Movie site. You can watch exploitation flix whenever you want and if you feel like doing reviews for them you can.

FREE MOVIES!

I’ll watch some tonight! I’ll do horror. I love exploitation horror movies, but other genres I can’t get into very well. Thanks for the site.

The Deuce is sorely missed thats for sure.

"We promise we are working our sexy asses off to bring The Deuce back as fast as we can."

Brilliant.

Alright, the site’s been back up, but any idea how much longer it’ll be for the forum to come back?

#487

Man, this forum-blackout couldn’t have come at a worse time in gaining new members.

Since the switch, I’ve been to a couple of other movie sites and I’ve noticed that the Oz documentary, Not Quite Hollywood, has been creating some buzz. Of course, this caused curious viewers to seek out some Oz-titles and since they were looking for recommendations, I gave them links to the Oz overview/title-list from the database.

And some of you know that I participate in an annual Halloween marathon throughout October, right? Well, now there’s some interest in building an expliotation marathon. Once again, I’ve spread The Deuce around to share what the essentials should be.

Yeah, how comes it’s still down ? It’s such a long time since it is, it realy should be back not to loose all the popularity it had !

Deuce is just great. I has the spark alive.

Reminiscing… While the GCDb (formerly known as The Deuce) is still without its own forums, it prospers as ever. I wonder what 2018 will bring…
