Harvey set it straight, and managed to get me even more excited to see the film.

This film going to be DOPE!

Can’t wait!!

Why is nobody discussing the new Variety full on Q&A with QT yet?! o_O

…it’s on the front page of this website!

There are minor spoilerts in that article. FYI

the second sex scene in a QT movie after JB? even if it’s an outrageously funny and unexpected one. I remember laughing hard reading that scene. “bonjour”… oh gosh, the laugh starts again.

I know that Butch and Fabienne didn’t have sex on camera in PF, but oral sex counts in my book, even if that part wasn’t on camera either. It was so tastefully and romantically done that I consider it one of my favourite “sex” scenes in film. Man versus woman, that sort of thing. The entire relationship was explained in those few minutes. Brilliant and touching. “for a Tarantino film”

Of course that fucking counts! As far as romantic (what you consider romantic is opinon) scenes and relationships go QT has done some of the best in history. Butch and Fabienne among them of course.

I don’t want to spoil it, but this IB one has nothing romantic to it. LOL

It had romance in the script. Whether it made it into the film or not, I guess we’ll see.

I’m pretty sure he’s talking about the specific scene, which I don’t think is too particularly romantic.

Yeah, talking about the sex scene of course. “animal-like” isn’t what I’d call romantic.

Romantic no. I hope in the movie its as comical as it was in reading it.

Yeah, I found it very funny as well. It’s kind of a big deal when you think about it. Quentin’s never used any kind of nudity before, let alone a sex scene. I’m very interested to see how he’s filmed it.

Like a porn director.

Naw.

I think it’ll be so quick and comedic it won’t really be an accurate portrayal of how he might shoot a nude scene.

Yeah, Quentin isn’t going to be anal about this particular sex scene. It’s a come from behind, surprise you kind of thing.

We finally get to see Julie Dreyfus naked! 8)

…she was easily the hottest girl in Kill Bill.

There was a sex scene and a butt shot in Jackie Brown of course, I thought that one was pretty good and funny. But I like how Quentin, though a big sexploitation fan, holds back from sex/nudity in his films. In the movies, the coolest characters usually never have sex on screen, it takes away from their coolness, that’s probably one of the reasons QT doesn’t do it much…

Yeah, sex is so uncool. CELIBACY IS SO MUCH COOLER!
